Proton Forest is owned by Hussein Karaki, a senior software and cybersecurity engineer working on AI-related applications. This service is one product in the company's software portfolio.

How this started

After a burglary, Hussein discovered that the saved camera footage he needed would not open. He worked out how to decrypt those recordings and built this service so others facing the same problem can check their files and recover playable video.
